> Four incremental patch files are attached. They are used as follows. How about having a little time before releasing 1pass-parsing? I would like to think about it.
Though the 1pass-parsing is a certainly wonderful improvement, it requires considerable disk space for a temporary file. In the case of linux-2.6.21.3, it requires about 59M Bytes, and additionally it use a file not visible. If someone tags a huge project at a server machine then it might bring /tmp directory overflow, and it is not visible. The system administrator might judge that he will reboot the system. Though the efficiency improvement of 1pass-parsing is large enough, 2pass-parsing doesn't have this danger. Since improvement of efficiency alone is not necessarily all, let's have a time to think about the method. -- Shigio YAMAGUCHI <[email protected]> PGP fingerprint: D1CB 0B89 B346 4AB6 5663 C4B6 3CA5 BBB3 57BE DDA3 _______________________________________________ Bug-global mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-global
