Yeah, Sure thing. Modify EDITOR (or CSCOPE_EDITOR) to any editor plus flags and/or arguments. E.g. EDITOR="emacsclient -n" Run gtags-cscope. Search any symbol or definition and try to edit it. E.g. I used the global source code, just search main and then edit the first option (pressing enter in gtags-cscope). gtags-cscope should complain that "emacsclient -n" cannot be executed.
