I don't have access to systems to build for Microsoft platforms, or Mac
OS X. I suspect it isn't worth building executables for GNU/Linux since
the platforms are highly diverse, and they typically have proper
channels for distribution of executables.

The other maintainers are welcome to do so.

The usual place would be to upload executables like a tarball and it
would land in ftp.gnu.org/gnu/chess/ or sub-directory of, as per Emacs
or gzip.
