Hi:
The HELP window for the version of GNU Chess 4.10 for Windows I am using
says that the version was ported from GNU Chess 4.0 patch level 77, and
it was compiled with Borland C++.
Several bug behaviors occur using the feature Edit->Review Game. The
first bad behavior I noticed involved an _en passant_ capture. Review
Game showed this move without removing the captured pawn. I
subsequently found some other bad behaviors involving castling and king
moves. Below is an edited listing (the unedited listing was created
using Game->List) of a game showing these behaviors. My edits are
inclusions of extra lines with text describing the bug behavior at that
point in the game review.
I hope this description is is sufficient for you to reproduce the bugs.
I can also email you CHS files of games (as attachments) illustrating
the bugs it that would be helpful.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this bug
description. I would also very much appreciate receiving an
acknowledgement that this message was received and understood.
Regards,
Buzz Bloom
