Some time ago I have started a little and not too serious project: https://github.com/nescitus/growing_fruit
It is based on Fruit 2.1, and so mostly compatibile with Your source, and clearly stronger than the original. Would it make sense to You to merge some of my changes into GnuChess? Regards, Pawel Koziol
