Hi,

I have two problems (I'm not sure if they are bugs):

gnuchess has a CPU load of approximately 5% even when not thinking ("gnuchess -e"). Is this normal?

When I start gnuchess (version 6.2.4 or 6.2.5) in UCI mode, i. e. "gnuchess -u", and enter "go" nothing happens. I have to enter something like "go infinity" or "go depth 5" in order to make it work. Is this a bug (default configuration missing)? The UCI "standard" says:

"go     start calculating on the current position set up with the "position" command.     There are a number of commands that *can* follow this command, all will be sent in the same string.     If one command is not sent its value should be interpreted as it would not influence the search."

Best regards,

Nic
