I've tried it on fedora 7 without a problem, but there's something with gnu radius that I cannot get it to run at all even though it compiles. Of course, 'make check' fails to run because it says that it can't start the server. It does, and when 'make check' tries to start the second server you end up with 2 servers running and it leads to a nasty crash of the system.
Installing and running 'radctl start' yields "Cannot start RADIUS server". 'ps aux | grep radi' yields "root 16541 99.7 0.0 7368 1992 ? R 08:13 10:41 /usr/local/sbin/radiusd" radius.log: Dec 10 08:13:17 Main.info: Starting Dec 10 08:13:17 Main.info: Terminating the subprocesses Dec 10 08:13:17 Main.info: Loading configuration files. Dec 10 08:13:17 Main.info: reading /usr/local/etc/raddb/config Running 'radctl status' says the server isn't running. 'Radctl stop' will not spit out anything or stop the service. Any ideas? Thanx!
