Nice work, Jon. I got it to build successfully first time.
Just a couple of points.
You don't state on the web page where the .exe ends up, so I had to hunt
for it. Either a note on the page or a shortcut on the menu (since
you've done so much else) would be good.
You need to select "run gnubg" from the start menu. Perhaps I should make
that clearer.
Gnubg launched successfully at the end of the build process. When I
tried to run it by double-clicking on the exe, it failed with an error
that it could not find some dll or other. I had C:\mingw in my path.
Changing it to C:\gnubg\mingw allowed it to run, but with an empty dos
window behind it. Is this to be expected, or is something wrong?
Can a no-gui be built?
I need to add a makefile for that - I'll add it to the todo list...
Will it work on my old 266 MHz Athlon at home, or do I need a processor
that supports SSE?
It should work fine... Give it a try. If you do a "show buildinfo" command
it should say SSE is unavaliable...
Jon
