The sse build doesn't work on two athlon thunderbird machines I have. They are both 4-5 years old. I tried running with gdb and it failed in some 3d-board file during startup. Possibly the -msse flag does some mumbo-jumbo to enhance 3d?? It might work if the -msse flag was only used on the files that really need it. I can try with gdb again if you want to file a compiler bug. Christian. -- "I can't promise that I'll try.
