I think I understand the background for the translation. The problem is that
the calculation of the normalized error rate per unforced decision
(DEPD in the terms of your reference) has been seriously altered for
the cube decisions. So somebody has to redo the work of that article
to obtain some new error-rate -> fibs-rating formulas.
