This is quite an obscure scenerio... I downloaded talisman and gnubg
doesn't run in "shell mode" so I'll take a look in the debugger when I get a
moment. In the mean time you can either not run the talisman desktop or run
in application mode...
Ideally enter bugs on the website
(http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=gnubg), use help->report bug in gnubg.

OMG, pre-programmed fingers....3rd time's a charm I hope.
When I run Talisman desktop as an application I can run GNU at the same
time. When I switch Talisman desktop to shell mode (it basically is a
shell replacement for explorer.exe - demo dl available at
http://www.lighttek.com) gnu crashes every time as soon as it hits
rendering board.
