Hi Oystein, as it has been suggested on the mailing list, it would be nice to have stable and devel windows distribs on gnubg.org.
C.Anthon has created a stable branch (rel_0_15) and I'm more or less able to build distribs from the MAIN branch (I take CVS snapshots from Achim's webpage) and the rel_0_15 branch (Christian puts a CVS source distrib on his webpage). I've created a /media/WinDistrib directory on ftp.bytecamp.net to store the windows distribs/executables. It would be nice if we can reorganize the download section. At the moment, clicking on "download" and then on "Microsoft Windows" points to an error page (http://www.gnubg.org/index.php?itemid=46). I have no access to this area (everything under Main Menu), all I can do is to post items to the different categories (normally I just post/edit to "General"). It is also confusing to have a "Download" link under the "Main menu" and a "Download and install" link under the "Categories" section. Overall, some kind of redesign seems needed. Somebody suggested something like : gnubg-0.15-stable <link to release notes/changelog> src code <link to tarbull> windows install <link to exe> gnubg-0.16-unstable <link to release notes/changelog> src code <link to tarbull> windows install <link to exe> MaX. _______________________________________________ Bug-gnubg mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnubg
