I read your note on the mailing list about declaring the multi-threaded version stable. The last time I looked at it, there were still a lot of bugs (that others and I have reported) in the rollout window--plays ranked in the wrong order, JSDs reported incorrectly. I finally gave up on that version and went back to my old version. Other players have told me they did the same. Have these problems been addressed?
I think and hope that these issues have been dealt with, but since I'm not familiar with threaded programming I've only followed the development from the sideline. What I meant (and wrote) was that we should stop adding features to 0.16 and post it for testing on the gnubg.org page. We don't have the number of developers to make a stable release without some user participation. So I suggest that you (and others reading this) give the threaded version another go, and report your findings.
