Hi all,

in a discussion on a bg forum somebody was asking why no bot offers an
indicator
of the volotility of a position (factor that helps understanding cube
decisions).

An answer stated that cubeful equities already integrate the notion and
are all
it is needed to take a cube decision. All true, but an indicator of the
volatility
will help the user understanding the cube decision (i.e. understanding why
the
cubeful equities are what they are).

Roughly (cubelessly) speaking, if the equity of the current position is
the weighted
average of the equities of the subsequent postions in the game tree,
wouldn't the
variance of such equities be an indicator of the volatility ?

MaX.
