If I remember correctly, there was something of a mess with it :
- I opened the bug and sent a patch that worked for me.
- Whoever checked it in (I don't think it was you, Christian, even if you
did close the case) made another change at the same time.
If I remember correctly, Jim Segrave, who certainly knows more about
this part of the code than I do, believed that he had a better fix or
a better understanding of where the problem was. His fix, however,
didn't work and he never got around to doing the right thing. I'll
re-implement your fix and make a note in the code.
