Probability of getting hit when ? Next opp roll ?
Gnubg displays in the lower left corner the number of hitting rolls your
opponent has with the current configuration (at least in the GUI version).
For example, if your first roll is a 62 and you play 24/16, it shows:
Return hits: 14 22 (no hit: 7 rolls)
this means that the 1st blot can be hit with 14 rolls over 36, the second
with 22 rolls over 36 and overall your opponent has 7 rolls that can not
hit.
Notice however that the fact your opponent has X rolls that will hit does
not
imply that, even if he/she rolls one of these, he/she will necessarily
hit.
