Cause I build with my own makefiles, not with the ones in the CVS
repository :)

Give us the output of a "dir *.exe" ... maybe it's just the "released
version" that
is a bit too old comapred to your one, I'll check.
Compiler options could also have an impact (500Kb seems a lot).
