What is the URL/File you downloaded to install GnuBG?
What commands do you run from the terminal to launch gnubg?

I have never seen what you described. Can you screen shot your desktop with
Command-Shift-3 (You¹ll hear it click like a camera shutter) demonstrating
this problem?. A picture file will be saved to your desktop called ³Picture
X² (where X=number). Email me a copy of the screenshot directly (Don¹t post
it to the mailing list)
