I'm confused by the current implementation of copy/paste in gnubg. Where else would you need it ? Player names ?
Another issue: - "Edit/Copy As/Position as ASCII" puts the text directly in the clipboard (good) - from hint window or analysis panel, when you want to copy the outcome of the hint/analysis you press a dedicated copy button which opens a window with the text inside. You then have to select it and do a ctrl-c. Why that ? I remember in the past there was no such window ...
