Thanks to Max we have produced a new windows release with the codebase from Aug 18, 2009.
Most importantly this fixed the optimization/neural net bug that keene discovered in this thread: http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?read=45761 Some speed improvements have been made as well, and other minor bug fixes. The changelog is available in the Gnubg directory after installation. Since the GnuBG site is still blacklisted because of issues earlier in the week, we have put a copy of the release at this location for download for the time being (This link is for the full installer and is recommended method of install for regular users): http://www2.capp-sysware.com/downloads/windows/gnubg-MAIN-20090817-NOGLADE-s etup.exe For those who wish to download and extract just the exe's in differing flavors (No Threading, Windows Threading and Glib threading versions) those can be found in this directory: http://www2.capp-sysware.com/downloads/windows/ --- Known Bug: There is a bug that incorrectly retains highlight on some games that are ended in cube/bad drop situations. There is now a fix for this that will go into the next release. The highlight should be simply ignored in the move list, as it appears it doesn't affect error rates etc. Thanks, The GnuBG Team
