I can reproduce a crash when the language option changes (Windows). I needed
to Use 3D and then turn on QuickDraw. I then had to make a single roll
(Start a new match, play one roll) then change language options. I can get
crashes with a bit of effort on Linux as well No issues with 2d but with
3d and quickdraw I saw a crash in get GetFontHeight3d() (There was no debug
info, I¹ll get a backtrace tomorrow, but likely someone will be able to
reproduce it).

People with this issue, are you using 3D mode and Quickdraw? If so what does
one get with Quickdraw off and changing languages. If Quickdraw off doesn't
resolve it, does switching to 2D make the issue disappear?
