Hi Guys,

We recently discussed revamping the options pages. A few people have been
confused by updating from quite old software and getting 15-20 error
messages when launching the new version. I have a short term solution.

Amend the windows installer so that after installtion as a post installation
process run the gnubg-cli app and issue a ³save settings² command as a
process (without a window Is preferable) and then exit. When the cli version
is launched it will throw error messages to the console (hidden). Save
settings will purge all the deprecated functions prior to the user launching
for the first time. This may be a kludge, but it really is the process
(launch/save settings) that I am recommending to users right now.

Mike
