Hi Gerhard,

The commonest cause of this problem is that you have forgotten to save the
settings after making changes.

Use the Settings... Save Settings option after you make changes.

If this is not the cause, then you may have a genuine problem with your
installation.

In Windows, the settings are stored in Documents and
Settings\USERNAME\.gnubg\gnubgautorc.

You could look at these with a text editor to see what should be stored.

Failing that, I'm sure one of the developers will respond with more ideas.

Regards,
Ian Shaw

        Subject: [Bug-gnubg] Loosing individual settings!

        Dear friends,

my installation (Version GNU Backgammon 0.90-mingw 20101215) does not
maintain (i.e. looses) some personalyzed individual settings when/after closed
down and restarted...
Is this a known bug or rather some mistake on my part?

        Appriciating your advise,

        Gerhard Weinwurm

PS: I like GNU Backgammon very much, it´s really great!
