Hi all! Thanks a lot for your help. Due to other reasons not related to gnubg, I had to go back to Ubuntu 10.04, so that I cannot reproduce the problem in my machine anymore. However, as soon as possible I will follow the instructions for a new CVS install with the most recent version. Cheers
