Are you referring to the popup boxes that appear showing you information from time to time in the middle of the screen? if so this might help: This is a side effect of how certain output is displayed on the Windows platform (I assume this is Windows you are referring to). One work around is to turn on the "message" panel. To do this pull down the "View" / select "Panels" and then put a checkmark beside "messages".
