Thank you,

Yes I have done that...

Restarting the gui it has kept the options and I can export the image fine. But starting with the -t switch and it doesn't load the configurationfiles as it seems...

Fredrik

Hi Fredrik,

I would try setting the export options using the GUI before using the CLI.
Remember to Save Settings - older versions of gnubg don't retain them
automatically.

I managed a similar task some years ago (using Windows XP), but I can't quite
remember how I did it. I do remember that I used the option to export to html,
rather than png. I think set up the export directory and created the images
before running my script.

Subject: [Bug-gnubg] gnubg-cli board appearance doesn't work?

Hi,

I'm running gnubg 0.90.0 (the one the is packaged for Ubuntu) and want to run
some commands with the cli to generate some images of the board.
However if I run it as cli only (gnubg -t) I can't control the appearance of
the board. If I run it with X everything works fine... I have even tried to set
the appearance with a command (set appearance
...) but it doesn't take...

all I want to be able to run is something like:

new match 3
export position png out.png

any ideas?

Regards,

Fredrik
