Hi,

Yes, the framework and headers are present on both my 10.6 and 10.7 systems. 
But both today's 10.6 build and a recent 10.7 build needed help finding the 
headers. I just chose to point to the MacPorts headers because I immediately 
knew the path to those headers, and I didn't want to hunt for the 
Apple-supplied framework.

PS---Wasn't there once something in autogen.sh to deal with this? Nothing there 
anymore.
