It works for me on x86, with no valgrind complaints.  Are you on a 64-bit
system, perhaps?  I haven't checked on a 64-bit system.

I will update the packages to the latest development sources as soon as
Debian comes out of the freeze, though.  (And incorporate the scroll bar
workaround.)
