On Windows Vista/7 the file is not under C:\Program Files\ but in
%localappdata%\VirtualStore\, as normal Users are not allowed to write in
C:\Program Files\
The same goes for Program Files (x86).
The user (and the program) think they save/load from the path shown, but
Windows redirects to a folder with write access.

I think Win8 has the same behaviour.
Try searching for a known .sgf file.
