Although you said you tried all of them this is the one that should work (others have confirmed the Yosemite version runs on 10.11): http://gnubg.org/media/macos/gnubg-1_04_000-mac-1010-x86_64.dmg You say you installed X11, assuming that is true did you drag the GNUBG.app from the DMG and to the /Applications folder?
