Could you tell what OS do these machines use ? Some version of Windows, I suppose. Does it happenn with 3d boards ? 2d boards ? In both cases ? Could you try to start gnubg from a terminal window (command or powershell) in case some useful error message is printed there when it crashes ? The Help / About GNU backgammon / Evaluation engine menu will show where the executable file is installed in its last line. > We used and loved 1.05 for a long time but got more and more annoyed by > lagging touch input to roll the dices. I don't think there was a lot of testing on touch-screen devices, possibly not at all. Does anyone here have some experience in this area ? Maybe there are some delay parameters in the GUI that should use different values when using a mouse and when using fingers. _______________________________________________ Bug-gnubg mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnubg
