There are a few reports of similar problems on Windows but for now I
have been unable to reproduce that.

In your case, is this on Windows ? If this is the case, do you really
mean you set up your screen resolution to 640x480 ? I thought the
minimun resolution for Windows 7 and later was 800x600. Or do you mean
the command-line version, gnubg-cli.exe works but not the default
graphical interface ?

Are there other subscribers to this list who have the same problem and
would be willing to experiment to try to understand what happens ?

Note that gnubg installs by default in %appdata%\..\local but doesn't
have to be there so, if version 1.06 doesn't work for you, you can copy
the %appdata%\..\local\gnubg folder somewhere else before reinstalling
an earlier version and still have 1.06 available for tests.
