Yes! This position actually proves that there are positions that can both
loose backgammon and still be won. X can get all his checkers off in 15
rolls (with only 6-6 rolls), while O also may use 15 rolls to get off all
checkers. Based on this example, I actually guess there are several
positions with this property.

Josephs position also work, but it has to be the race leading player on
roll.
