Hi Chris, I used to do something similar, calling gnubg from the command line with a file of commands.
As far as I know, nothing has changed, but it’s probably a decade since I’ve tried it. Have you looked here:? https://www.gnu.org/software/gnubg/manual/gnubg.html#gnubg-starting_options Cheers, Ian From: Bug-gnubg [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chris Wilson Sent: 01 March 2021 13:56 To: [email protected] Subject: No command line? Years ago I would batch analyze my matches. I wrote a program that created entries in the following format (minus the dashes): --- set cache 65536 set Priority Idle set analysis luckanalysis plies 2 set analysis luckanalysis reduced 2 set analysis luckanalysis cubeful on import mat 'G:\NewMatches\scoper10.mat' analyze match save match 'G:\NewMatches\Analyzed\scoper10.sgf' relational add match --- My program writes the entries to a text file (usually 25 matches per file) which I then used with gnubg-no-gui. I've looked everywhere for information on command-line options. Is there no way to do this with the current version? I would like to accomplish the same task at 4-ply as well as automate rollouts on some matches. Chris
