Yes! Amazing! You can even launch a GUI/GTK  based WSL Ubuntu GNU
Backgammon installation! That also surprised me - I have no X server on my
Windows so I guess there is something GTK+Wayland going on. I had no idea
this would work! However, that is not what I am doing. I run the GUI in a
Windows build and connect to a "gnubg -t" instance on the WSL. Windows
version downloaded and installed from the download site, and the WSL
version installed by apt.
