The special MET is a quick hack to analyze (not entirely accurately, as you point) these kind of games with gnubg as it is, but if one wants to add code to improve this, implementing table stakes for unlimited sessions seems preferable to me. Do they have some kind of "; [TableLimit 8]" comment in the header ? Are they directly exported as a 8 points matchi, or a 0 point match and you have to edit this line before analyzing them ?
