Hi Alan, Paul,
You contributed a lot of changes to the files lib/obstack.{h,in.h,c}
between 2007 and 2021.
We would like to have the ability to flow back these changes into
glibc. glibc is under LGPLv2+.
In this period (2007-2021), the license of the respective files was unclear:
while the file's license notice said LGPLv2+, the module description said
"License: LGPL", which since 2007 is equivalent to LGPLv3+. So, it is not
clear to us whether your changes were meant to be under LGPLv2+ or LGPLv3+.
Would you please relicense your changes under LGPLv2+? That is, give us
the ability to relicense the 'obstack' module under LGPLv2+ and then be
able to flow back the changes into glibc?
