Currently, gnulib only uses utimensat within the gnulib interface utimens, which is not documented as supporting UTIME_NOW/UTIME_OMIT. Therefore, I think that in this case, a gnulib fallback is easier to implement than waiting for a glibc fallback. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
