Reading through that, it was not clear if anyone was successful building gnulib for Android. It sounds like they were building a subset for a particular purpose. Is that correct? Also a separate conversation started called "Android porting results" where someone reports the same first issue I am seeing. In that discussion someone proposes a patch. I will try that out, but I am wondering if all of this work has already been included in some version of gnulib and I just need to get that?
