Btw, stdio-consolesafe.c uses vasprintf, which mingw.org's MinGW doesn't have. And Gnulib's vasprintf is huge, basically performing all the formatting by itself. Which means there could be subtle inconsistencies with other MinGW *printf functions. So that seems to be a fly in the ointment...
