Hi.

Here are a few wirdnesses I've noticed. There seems to be some change in the iTunes DB format on the video iPod that GNUPod doesn't correctly handle yet. I'm running 0.98.3.

1. All songs also appear in the music videos listing. This is a minor annoyance, as I don't actually use the video feature. By the way, does GNUPod support videos? Will it?

2. When you turn on the 'compilations' option on the ipod, all albums get flagged as compilations, and disappear from the 'artists' menu. (Some magic should flag compilation albums (albums with more than 1 artist?) as compilations, so the artists list list of artists isn't cluttered by compilation-members.

3. I've got the camera adapter thingy, which lets you suck photos from a camera to the iPod via USB. When I used it, it appeared to trash the iTunes DB so that all the songs still listed correctly, but none of them played.

Are any of these known problems? I can do more investigation if needed.

Leon
