Hi, I have a 5th generation iPod video (/classic) and use gnupod v. 0.99.5.
The script tunes2pod.pl does not import the podcast playlists from iTunesDB to GNUtunesDB.xml. The podcast files are actually marked with the attribute podcast="1", however no element such as <playlist name="podcast name" plid="XXXXX" podcast="1" > is created for the podcast playlists already saved on the iPod. When I download a new podcast and put in in a new podcast playlist, with something like: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnupod_addsong.pl -p "Thought For The Day" --playlist-is-podcast http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/thought/rss.xml the new episodes are effectively copied on the iPod and a see a new podcast with title "Thought For The Day". However, this is the only podcast I see on the iPod. The old podcasts are gone. That's because mktunes.pl doesn't find the old podcast playlists in GNUtunesDB.xml, so the episodes are kept on the iPod, but they're not accessible via the iPod's Podcasts menu. Please tell me if you need a copy of my iTunesDB file. Thanks, Davide _______________________________________________ Bug-gnupod mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnupod
