I suspect the gmodels containing a submenu were generated on MacOSX then,
which would mean that the target points to the submenu on MacOSX too.
So - it's probably a new item for the TODO list - change the gui library
so that the target of items with submenus is the submenu rather than the
menu. This for better compatibility with all apple products, for simpler
gmodel code, and also for slightly better design. It's a minor TODO
because everything already works and it doesn't look like something really
important - anyway.
