I encountered the following problem with the recent GNUstep version: When
unminiaturizing a window, the app crashes or hangs with the following message:
Oct 18 23:42:49 Ink[5431] X-Windows error - BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
on display: :0.0
type: 0
serial number: 7008
request code: 15
the app tries with an everytime increased by one serial number - forever.
The only app that does not always have this bug is Ink.app. The bug does not appear in
Ink.app if I write some text/characters and call some service from the services menu
(I tried this several times and the bug never appeared).
I ran GWorkspace..app once with debug app, stopped when the app stays in its eternal
loop and made a backtrace which only lists error handling functions, so I did not
include it here.
