The attached patch makes NSProgressIndicator a little more appealing -- I

Personally, I would like to see NSProgressIndicatior like in attach
(NeXT one). I can create it after fixing/testing/cleanup NSMenu* and
 friends.

The original one is okay, though I kinda feel it doesn't fit in with the other controls. I mean, it isn't bad to have something different, but the gtk+ one looks nice with the overall OpenStep look I think.

Plus, implementing the indeterminate look would be pretty easy: create a
beveled box 1/10 the size of the control and simply move it back and forth
within the control. I can implement this easily if someone would like that.

Either way is fine, I'm just too lazy to implement anything more complex. :-)

What about implementing all thse different looks at once, by having code for different NSInterfaceStyles? That way all off you would be happy and the rest of us will have a choice. I think this is currently only used in NSMenuView (and even there not exactly correct), though it should be working.

Cheers
Fred
