=================== BUG #4255: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: benhur Project: GNUstep

Category: Gui/AppKit Severity: 1 - Ordinary
Bug Group: Bug Resolution: Fixed
Assigned to: benhur Status: Closed
Summary: NSOpenPanel name highlighting may not work
Original Submission: In a NSOpenPanel, typing the name of a file in the
text field highlights the first file in the list with
a common prefix. This does not always work.
The attached example creates and populates two directories
(/tmp/y1 and /tmp/y2), one with files aa, xx and XX,
the other with only xx and XX. Then, it opens a panel
in each directory, with X already typed. In the first case,
the file XX is not highlighted, in the second case, it is.
As a side note, I was not able to set keyboard focus to the
panel.
