Dear All, Dear Stefan,
The windows version of StepTalk is working +/- stable (using Mingw). I had to switch back from framework to library mode. This was needed because some of the GNUstep makefiles do not work in framework mode due to lack of "ln -s" under Mingw/Windows. :-( A problem remains: STNil is causing crashes here and there. I don't understand this behaviour but it might be related to the fact, that STNil is located in a DLL and is allocated and stored there. Probably, there is read-only access to variables declared in DLLs. Is somebody else out there working on a stable Windows port and experiencing the same problems? Having a solution? Versions used: gnustep 1.8.0, StepTalk 0.8.0 Is somebody interested to get the whole dump? I will probably not be able to keep up with the speed of development of gnustep to provide patches.
