base working on Mac OS X 10.1.5

Hello

setting this GCArray deep copy issue aside, I've got GNUstep base building on my trusty Mac OS X 10.1.5 box. For now, I've used the GNUstep way to build things.

It needed some tweaking, see patches against a current cvs checkout below. Most of the few changes are actually simplifications. They will make base more friendly for STRICT_OPENSTEP as well. Want to check in anybody?
