Details:
Even when the background is set to white the text area shows up as grey.
This problem has been evident for a while.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start GSTest (in usr-apps/examples)
2) Start the NSSecureTextField test
3) Type in the field.
RESULT: Text field shows grey until typed in
EXPECTED: Text field should show proper color.
