Follow-up Comment #1, bugs #12300 (project gnustep):
I just tried this with Ink and the xlib backend and it worked fine. As there
shouldn't be much differences in the back ends on this functionality could
you please retry?
Perhaps also with xlib and than note down the differences?
The only thing I can think up that could cause this is, that there isn't a
matching font or enough font information so that [NSFontManager
convertFont:toHaveTrait:] doesnt find a matching font.
Could you please yourself start debugging from there on?
